An image can be changed

1 · Learn

Editing can adjust brightness, colour or selected details. These changes may make a design clearer, but can also alter what a viewer thinks happened.

A changed colour in a fictional poster is different from changing evidence in a science observation. Keep edited versions labelled and ask permission before using others' work.

2 · Worked example

I brighten a scanned drawing for readability but do not claim its edited colours are an exact measurement of a real plant.

3 · Your turn

Does a convincing image automatically prove an event happened exactly as shown?

Check your answer

No. Images can be edited or taken out of context. Check the source, purpose and supporting evidence.

4 · Apply your learning

Make a clearly labelled edited version of your own drawing. Compare it with the original and explain one change in meaning or appearance.

Adult guidance and safety

Use an adult-approved offline or school-managed application and invented non-personal data. Do not change real network settings, publish recordings or upload others' images. Follow paper models with practical work in a suitable tool and check saved files reopen.

Drawing is unavailable. Use the typed working area below.

Your pad is empty.

Open a UTF-8 TXT file from this device, up to 40 KB and 10,000 characters. It stays in this browser. Opening can be undone until you type again. Downloads keep a new copy; they do not change the file you opened.

Typed notes are not submitted answers.
