Retell a familiar tale - Paper 2
Read the information, then answer the questions. An adult may read the instructions aloud. Show your working where asked.
Read before answering
The Three Little Pigs: Three pigs built houses of straw, sticks and bricks. A wolf blew down the straw house, then the stick house. The first two pigs ran to the brick house. The wolf blew again, but the brick walls stayed firm. In this short version, the wolf gave up and left the three pigs safe inside. This is our own short retelling of a traditional tale. An adult may read it aloud. Other versions can have different details or endings. Answer about this version, then compare with a book if one is available.
