Flowering-plant record: A fertilised ovule develops into a seed containing an embryo. Process key: pollination transfers pollen to a stigma; fertilisation joins sex cells; seeds then develop; dispersal moves seeds; germination begins new growth. These terms describe different events. Use drawings or approved records; do not taste plants or handle pollinating insects.
